Pauline sadly passed away on the 4th June this year after a long hard fight with lung cancer which she had been fighting for over two years. She couldnt fight no more so she let go to be painfree and in peace, leaving behind her loving husband Keith of who she was married to for 40 years, their two children Lisa and Stewart and five granchildren that adored her Amy, Aiden, Jack, Emily and Bethany aswell as brothers, sisters, nephews, neices and a lot of friends.

Pauline was the most loving Wife, Mum, Nanna and friend to everyone and will never be forgotten she will live on through all our hearts. Pauline touched many hearts and those that got to know her and spent time with her are very lucky people. Pauline is now an angel in the sky and there will not be a day goes by where she wont be in our thoughts and prayers. Gone but never forgotten.

I would like to thank everyone that has taken the time to light a candle this is very kind of you and is really appreciated thank you for helping to keep Paulines memory alive.

THIS WAS A POEM WRITTEN FROM THE HEART BY PAULINE'S SPECIAL GRANDAUGHTER AMY MCGUIRE, THIS WAS READ OUT AT PAULINES FUNERAL!

To nana, This Is For You
I really felt quite special
That God had chosen you…
To be a person in my life
Who knew me through and through.
The time that we spent talking
I always felt you heard…
You were so good at listening
To each and every word.
Even things I didn’t share
You somehow heard them, too…
It was a special gift of care
That God had given you.
So I just want to thank you
For being there for me…
Showing me love that was so true
By loving me totally.

As we look back over time
We find ourselves wondering .....
Did we remember to thank you enough
For all you have done for us?
For all the times you were by our sides
To help and support us .....
To celebrate our successes
To understand our problems
And accept our defeats?
Or for teaching us by your example,
The value of hard work, good judgement,
Courage and integrity?
We wonder if we ever thanked you
For the sacrifices you made.
To let us have the very best?
And for the simple things
Like laughter, smiles and times we shared?
If we have forgotten to show our
Gratitude enough for all the things you did,
We're thanking you now.
And we are hoping you knew all along,
How much you meant to us.

I see your smile of the past
You would always make us laugh
Life was forever free
And you were all you could be

Then came time
There were burdens to share
Sadly those you could not bear
Deep within your mind you went
You became not who you truly were

Life became dark
The substance took over
Your eyes filled with tears
The pain was forever

The memories of the past are clear
And when we see tomorrow
You will be nowhere near
When we look for your smile
All we see is the sorrow

But what has happened has brought us close
The memories of your life will always live on
With the sparkle in your eyes
And a smile on your face
In our hearts you have filled a special place
So when we think of you
We will forever reflect back
To who you once were
